About Marutha Movie (2022)

Kaali (Viji Chandrasekhar) and Maayan (Vela Ramamoorthy) are husband and wife. Maayan has a sister called Meenakshi (Radhika Sarathkumar), who is married with a son. Maayan presents his sister with a lump sum during a family function. Unable to do the same in return, Meenakshi’s husband kills himself. When her brother's wife expects her to repay the money, Meenakshi sees it as a chance to reclaim her lost honour.
