About Star Trek: Discovery Season 1 Web Series
Star Trek Discovery, the seventh Star Trek series is set a decade before Star Trek: Th Original Series (1966) in a parallel universe. USS Shenzou, a Walker class starship of the United Federation of Planets is commanded by Captain Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh), with Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green, the first woman of colour to act in the role of series protagonist) as its first officer.
The accidental discovery of a wrecked starship by the crew soon turns into a reckless war between the UFP and Klingon Empire, age-old adversaries to the Federation. Meanwhile, a new starship named Discovery might begin a new journey for the UFP as well as Burnham.
