Last month, Gameloft gave us a glimpse of its Asphalt 8 spinoff game, Asphalt Xtreme, which lets the players take their races off-road in different terrains. Now, the company has released the game on platforms Android, iOS, and Windows.

As mentioned in our previous report about the game, Asphalt Xtreme seems inspired by Microsoft's Forza Horizon 3 title on consoles and PC, and offers tracks ranging from dunes of Nile Valley to lush jungles of Phuket in Thailand. The game features wide collection of vehicles, 35 in total, from which you can choose to race with various types like Muscle Car, Buggy, Pickup, Rally Car, SUV, or a Monster Truck.

There are seven vehicle types and car brands like Jeep, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Predator, Dodge, and Chevrolet have been included in the game. Apart from the wide selection of vehicles, the game also provides customisation options to players to modify their vehicles as per their liking.

In terms of online multiplayer, the game provides option to participate in "8-player simultaneous free-for-alls," the game's description says on Google Play Store.

Currently the game features five game modes, 400+ career events, 500+ Mastery challenges, and Limited-Time Events, but the company says more game modes and features are on their way.

Asphalt Xtreme is free for download on all platforms and can be downloaded from Google Play, App Store, or Windows Store. For Windows, the game is available for Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1.
