Post-apocalyptic role-playing game, Fallout 4, had quite the showing at E3 2015. With deep base building and customisation over and above its immersive environments, it looks to be one of the bigger games of the year.

However, a recent report, by Digital Spy cited Todd Howard, the game's director, to say that Fallout 4 will run at a maximum resolution of 1080p and frame-rate of 30fps "on everything."

While "everything" would imply the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, we're inclined to believe that it would be capped at this resolution and frame rate for consoles alone. Reason being, gaming on PC has seen a surge of late towards higher resolutions such as 1440p and 4K at higher frames-per-second as well. It's something that Bethesda VP Pete Hines too has addressed as speculation in a reply (via Forbes) to his followers on Twitter.

In other Fallout news, Bethesda announced Fallout Shelter for iOS at E3 2015, a cross between FarmVille and its post-apocalyptic trappings. It featured no mandatory online requirement nor did require you to pay to accomplish in-game tasks. And it appears that its good will towards players has paid off.

According to App Annie data, it was the number three grossing app on the App Store in the United States on June 16 and June 17, just a day after its release on June 15. It was only Clash of Clans and Game of War: Fire Age. However it managed to beat out Candy Crush Saga from the top three for the first time since January 2013. Interestingly, it was also the most downloaded game in the US for four days straight, from June 15 to June 18.
