When we played Homefront: The Revolution at Gamescom 2015 we noted that while it was rough around the edges, there was enough to allow it to stand out from a crowded open-world shooter genre. At the time its publisher, Deep Silver was yet to finalise on a new distributor for India following the implosion of incumbent Milestone Interactive.

Deep Silver will partner with Sunder Electronics to launch its games in India. The latter is known for bringing Nintendo's games and hardware in the country as well as being a sub distributor for Sony's consoles and games.

The first two games that should hit India include the aforementioned Homefront: The Revolution, Sunder Electronics boss Lalit Jain told Gadgets 360. It sports a May 20 release date and will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One for Rs. 3,499. At this point in time, there's no information as to a physical PC release being made available for India. Nonetheless, you can check it out on Steam where it can be pre-ordered from Rs. 1,179.

In addition to this, there's the Dead Island Definitive Edition that will be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One for Rs. 2,999 on May 31. It includes the original Dead Island, sequel Dead Island: Riptide, and 16-bit retro side-scroller Dead Island: Retro Revenge as well as all previously-released downloadable content (DLC). Deep Silver claims each game runs at 1080p and 30 frames per second, with improved textures, better models, a new lighting system and a consistent user interface across the main two games. Much like Homefront, don't hold your breath for a PC release.
