  Ordered on 27.08.16 morning, but got it delivered today (31.08) afternoon ----- a delay indeed for WS Retail. Great exchange offer of Rs. 10,000/- for my old Compaq CQ40 (Core 2 Duo) ---- I did not expect, but it is true. The exchange process is smooth and hassle free. Now come to the laptop : 1. I bought one HP Pavilion x360 13-s102tu on June 25, 2016 from Flipkart itself, which is an excellent laptop and this one can easily be placed in the same category so far as its performance is concerned. I got almost 6 hrs. battery backup with WiFi on-----good but not the best. Dell 3058 gives a better backup-- but it is far smoother and cooler. I have not yet tested, but with WiFi off it is expected to give a backup of 7 hrs. or more. 2. Touch screen is very responsive and good enough --- better than Dell and almost as good as x360 13-s102tu 3. Sleek and light enough to carry easily everywhere 4. Premium looks and good display --- unlike x360 13-s102tu it is an HD, but the contrast and colour saturation are great for a laptop of this price category 5. DDR4 RAM is a good addition and will certainly help better multitasking 6. HP Laptop Bag is an excellent offer ---- Thanks Flipkart Cons : 1. Expected a better battery backup. HP is requested to think over this matter 2. Price is lower at Amazon 3. For using as a Tablet (Tablet Mode) it is on the heavier side 4. Price could have been lower Overall, it is a great 2 in 1 for everyday use and an excellent deal with Flipkart. I highly recommend it particularly for the people of my age (60+). With a replacement of its HDD with an SSD will certainly enhance its performance saving time and battery. I am thinking of doing so in near future. N.B. Create an HP Recovery Drive with 16 GB Pendrive as early as possible, although it comes with a Recovery Partition. Some options I adopted to enhance battery backup : After more than a week of using it I found that its battery backup can be enhanced substantially following some techniques, which actually I did are : 1. Lower the brightness to 25-30% 2. Disable Bluetooth and enable it only when you need it 3. Enable Battery Saver (I set it activated when battery falls below 40%) 3. When using on battery set the display off 1-2 minutes of idling 4. Set the sleep time 5-10 minutes 5. If possible switch off WiFi when you don't need it (although this save a small amount of battery usage) 6. Try to replace its HDD with an SSD (it saves 10-20% of battery) remember HP does not use brands like WD or Seagate HDD, rather they use HGST HDD. I myself replaced its HDD with Samsung 850EVO 500GB SSD after cloning the OS with Minitool Partition Wizard. This replacement will not affect the warranty, provided no damage done to other hardware. With these options I am now getting a backup of almost 8 hours. Note : Replacement of HDD with SSD does not affect warranty unless you damage other hardware.

  I got this product by the third day of ordering. The package was big and the packing were secured. They delivered it with care. And even I got 10000/- in exchange of my old lap, which I thought was not possible. I am fully satisfied with the purchase from Flipkart. The product has some juice when I got it, it lasted for 2 hrs. Then I charged the device 100% it took about an hr, and it showed that the battery will last 9hrs. Then once I started working, it showed at 90% that the battery will last for 4hrs. And it did. On my complete usage with wifi, it gave 4hrs of battery backup. I thought it'll give more, apart from this the product is the best. Touchscreen is very sensitive, and the hinge is solid. It has clear sound, which is very excellent. The vent is at the bottom of the device, which heats up when it is placed over flat surface, and while using it in tablet mode for longer period of time, the screen even gets heated. Apart from all these pros and cons, I like the product. It's an excellent choice for people who travel lot.
