4 stars one less due to heating problem its cooler is near screen which makes ur laptop led heated very soon while playing games and also heats alot laptop used this laptop for more than 4 months. Over all best laptop

8th gen?

I really liked the prompt service by the seller, I received the product with in 1 day or order placed. packaging could have been better but that's fine. no additional stuffs provided only Laptop and power cord. Product really looks great and works fine too. Only problem is with the windows update that's something not in the hand of seller and not because of the hardware. Overall a good product runs fine with heavy software/memory processing..

I just buy this laptop and using it over the month no complain. Note: for starter please update the windows and store for better experience otherwise u keep on complaining. The display is more than good believe me the most amazing thing about this laptop is display. GPU is also working fine I play rise of the tomb raider for checking the gaming performance, it runs perfectly without lag. only thing that it has only 2 usb port but 1 type c is der but still i need more usb.

Flipkart delivery was very bad - I have upgraded my old laptop. I had a lenovo laptop which asks for password while login . the delivery boy asked to get it removed and didnot deliver the product on time . A suggestion to flipkart - If you say that you need a laptop in working condition that specifies it should login and work - the OEM always comes with password by default. Change ur guidelines for exchanging products. Now I want to share my experiences with this laptop ) . If you are looking for a decent 15 inch laptop then HP Pavilion 15 is a very Good choice . This is not a ultrabook and weighs around 2.1kg and will feel little heavy. Good points you will notice are - 1. latest processor and does not heat up after long use . 2. build quality is very good . 3. There is a thunderbolt port /usb c cable - but u need to have an adapter to use it . 4. Sound quality is awesome turned by band and oflusen. 5. Disk drive is not common for recent laptop but it has not omitted. 6. Hybrid Disk drive SSD +HDD for fast access and ample storage very little compromising on performance . I like the feature most because laptops having only SSD is having limited space .7. boot up time is very less after 40 days of usage . 8. battery back up is average. do not expect 8-9 hrs as specified but you will get decent 5+ hrs which is good for 15 in laptop. 9. 4k video playback is seamless awesome feature - I have TP T470 Ultrabook 7300u i5 - which can only play 2k video . There are some of the feature which u will find average - 1. Display is not great no HDR . but ok considering its price . My iPad air 2 (having since 2015)screen is way way better than this laptop . 2. HP software support systems will pop up notifications badges is bit annoying. 3. Processor frequency is 1.6 gz to 1.8gz is downgrade from 7th gen Intel processes. Though there is no performance issue faced in last 40 days use.

Packing is not good and performance is slow, Some scratches is their in display

I purchased this laptop online trusting the brand HP. Within a month after I started using it I found a problem with the display. It is so worst that the text is too light and merges with the background. When I called HP care they were just sending emails with the new display quotation though it was under warranty. I went to service center and they told me to contact customer care. It was going rounds and I was fed up. After 3 months my eyesight increased and this time I went to HP service center with sufficient proofs to show the problem clearly. They took 1 week and changed the display but after using it for few days I found that the issue was not resolved so I went to service center again. They said they cannot help and I was ready to just give this laptop back to them and exchange for an old model also for a loss as I can't continue using it anymore. They could not do it. Now I'm left keeping this laptop with myself and I'm not using it since my eyesight will go even bad. I trusted HP and bought this online. I will never repeat this mistake. Very disappointed!

Battery was too much poor, and sometimes it's going to be dead battery from 100%
