Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?

Ankur Singla: Currently I use a MacBook Air and a LG Google Nexus 5. Both these gadgets fulfil all my professional as well as personal requirements. The Macbook Air is sleek yet powerful and that's what I like about it. Its battery lasts for about 10 hours so I can use it unplugged for most of the time. As far as Nexus 5 is concerned, it is a complete package. I specially love its photo features.

What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?

Ankur Singla: Right now the apps I hold most precious to my existence are iCal [now known as Calendar], WhatsApp and Feedly. WhatsApp helps me stay connected with my family and colleagues and also lightens the hassle of calling them multiple times a day. Through [Calendar], I can keep a check on important schedules, reminders, appointments, meetings and a lot more. And most importantly, Feedly enables me to get fresh content from my information sources and also allows the saving of content that is very useful.

What is one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?

Ankur Singla: I never travel without my Macbook Air as this is the only way through which I can attend my meetings on Skype, send important mails and browse the internet. Apart from this, it also serves as the perfect entertainment gadget while I am travelling, whether it is listening to music, watching movies or catching up with the latest news. Also Kindle is a great way to catch up on my reading on the go.

What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?

Ankur Singla: I wish I had an auto planner that schedules my day appropriately without me having to do it manually every day. As I follow a hectic routine, a planner to instantly time my work and leisure activities in perfect harmony will help me a lot.

How has technology changed the way in which you work?

Ankur Singla: I use Google Apps (Mail and Docs) for all my work related things - gone are the issues I used to face with Outlook and desktop oriented software and file stores. Plus mobile apps make it super easy to keep yourself updated with work.
