Asus has launched its all-in-one PC, the ET2040INK, in India at Rs. 24,999. The AIO PC is available from Asus exclusive stores and online via Amazon.

The Asus All-in-One PC ET2040, specifically model number ET2040INK, runs on Windows 8.1 with Bing and features a 19.5-inch HD (1366x768 pixels) resolution LED-backlit display. Unfortunately, the larger PC misses out on touchscreen support. Backed by an Intel J2900 Pentium processor (4 cores, 4 threads, up to 2.41GHz burst speed, 2MB cache), the AIO PC also includes 2GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD Graphics.

The Asus All-in-One PC also bears 500GB of inbuilt storage (5400 RPM) and a 1-megaixel webcam for video chats and gesture recognition. Measuring 489.4x307.15x14-25.5mm, and weighing 3.5 kgs, the ET2040INK sports three USB 3.0 ports, three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI-out, Audio Jet, RJ-45 port, card reader, and Wi-Fi under its connectivity options.

The All-in-One PC ET2040INK, which comes bundled with a mouse and a keyboard, also supports advanced Hand-Gesture Recognition Software (HGRS). The software lets users make hand gestures from up to five metres away from the PC and control multimedia players. The audio system also comes powered by Asus SonicMaster Technology, which the company claims gives wider frequency response, rich base output and more.
