Mi A2, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Realme U1, More Refurbished Smartphones Get Discounts in Amazon Earth Week Sale

To celebrate Earth Day 2019, which falls on April 22, Amazon India is holding an Earth Week sale from Tuesday, April 16 to Monday, April 22. The online retail giant is offering over 200 deals on refurbished products from Amazon Renewed during the sale. This includes refurbished smartphones, headphones, laptops, accessories, and more. By buying refurbished products you not only save money, but you also end up doing your bit to help save the planet.

During the Earth Week sale, Amazon India says it will offer up to 70 percent in savings on some refurbished smartphones. Xiaomi's Mi A2 is available at Rs. 9,899 (MRP Rs. 17,499), the Redmi Note 6 Pro is down to Rs. 10,699 (MRP Rs. 12,999), and the Realme U1 is also available at Rs. 8,999 (MRP Rs. 11,999).

All these are refurbished phones, offered under the Amazon Renewed programme. Amazon India offers a minimum of six months seller-backed warranty on some refurbished products sold under Amazon Renewed in India.

Amazon claims these products come with minimal or no signs of wear and tear, and are checked and restored to original working condition by professionals.

Amazon Renewed is a global programme that brings certified refurbished products to customers in nine countries. It was introduced in India back in 2017. Amazon says it sells over 6,000 refurbished products in India.

Apart from smartphones, Amazon India's Earth Week sale will also offer refurbished laptops with Intel Core i5 processors at prices starting from Rs. 19,990 while laptops powered by Intel Core i7 processors will be available at prices starting from Rs. 23,990.

Amazon's own devices such as Fire TV Stick, Amazon Echo, Amazon Echo Dot, and other products will be available at discounted prices during the Earth Week sale. All certified refurbished Amazon devices come with one year warranty. 

Amazon Earth Week sale will also offer up to 60 percent off on select refurbished speakers and up to 70 percent off on select Amazon Renewed selection of refurbished products.

Some products are also available with Rs. 1,500 instant discount when you opt for EMIs with ICICI Bank debit and credit cards. Amazon is also offering some products with no-cost EMI payment option during the Earth Week sale.
