Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) With 4.5-Inch Display Launched at Rs. 5,999

After launching its Asus ZenFone 5 (A501CG-2B509WWE) last month in India, the firm has now launched its ZenFone C (ZC451CG) at a budget price of Rs. 5,999. The same handset was reportedly launched in Malaysia last month. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart, an e-commerce website starting Wednesday, and in Asus exclusive stores starting February 18.

As mentioned before, the Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) is a dual-SIM supporting device running Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Zen UI out-of-the-box. There is no word on if the handset's due to receive an Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

The Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854) display. The smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology (2 cores, 4 threads, and 1MB cache) and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone also includes a 5-megapixel 'PixelMaster' rear autofocus camera with flash and f/2.0 lens, apart from a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.8 lens. The company stresses on its PixelMaster technology's Low Light mode that lets the handset camera capture up to 400 percent brighter photos at night without the use of flash. The Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) sports 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone's audio is powered by Asus' SonicMaster technology.

Other specifications of the Asus ZenFone C ZC451CG include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The smartphone sports a 2100mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 29.8 hours of 3G talk time and up to 260 hours of standby time. The smartphone is available in Black, White and Red colour variants, measures 136.5x67x10.9mm, and weighs 149 grams.
