The smartphone is powered by an octa-core (2GHz quad-core + 1GHz quad-core) MediaTek Helio P10 processor. To recall, the HTC One A9 came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor.

The new One A9s will be available in two models - one with 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage, and the other sporting g3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. Both the models will support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB).

Much like the HTC One A9, the One A9s features a fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the home button. Some of the other features include HTC BoomSound and two microphones with noise cancellation capability. The HTC One A9s comes with Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Glonass, 3G, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n connectivity options. It is backed by a 2300mAh battery.
