Lenovo launches five Android smartphones starting Rs. 6,499

Lenovo has launched five new Android smartphones in the Indian market ahead of the festive season. These smartphones are Lenovo A60+, Lenovo S880, Lenovo P700i, Lenovo K860, and Lenovo S560.

Lenovo K860 has a 5-inch IPS display with 720X1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and has 8GB internal storage.  It comes with an 8-megapixel camera shooter with built in special effects and editing options. Lenovo K860 is priced at Rs. 28,499.

Lenovo S880 is also a 5-inch device. This is a sleek looking smartphone, which is just 9.9mm thick and boasts of long battery life. This dual-SIM Android smartphone will retail for Rs. 18,999 and will be competing with the likes of HTC Desire V and Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 on one level and the 5-inch smartphones such as Micromax A100, Spice Mi-500 and iBall Andi 5c on the other.
 
Lenovo S560 is a smartphone targeting music lovers and packs in Dolby Digital Plus technology. It features a 4-inch IPS screen and runs on a dual-core processor. There is a 5-megapixel camera on board and it carries a price tag of Rs. 14,499.

Lenovo P700i is another dual-SIM smartphone. It is a 4-inch smartphone that comes with 'Lenovo Smart Energy technology,' which according to the company helps the enhancing the battery life of the smartphone. According to Lenovo, P700i is capable of delivering a talk time of up to 28 hours and standby time of up to 13 days. Priced at Rs. 12,499, Lenovo P700i packs in 1GHz dual-core processor.

Lastly, Lenovo A60+ is an entry level smartphone from the company. It has 3.5-inch screen, powered by a 1GHz processor and runs on the dated Android 2.3 operating system, while the other 4 smartphones run Android 4.1. Leno A60+ is available for Rs. 6499.

All five smartphones are already available with at all leading third-party and Lenovo exclusive stores in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Gujarat.
