Alternatively, LG V30 users can upgrade by connecting to their PC using the LG Bridge programme. The LG Bridge app can be downloaded from LG's mobile download centre.

Android 8.0 Oreo brings features like the Picture-in-Picture mode, notification dots, enhanced quick settings, and smart auto fill. Proprietary features include high-resolution LDAC audio technology for minimising sound source loss. Android Oreo is also expected to improve speed, battery, and software performance on the LG V30.
