OnePlus on Thursday announced its exclusive e-commerce platform for the Indian market. The new official website - oneplusstore.in - will be selling OnePlus accessories via the store, however, while the OnePlus 3 smartphone is listed on the store, users are redirected to buy it via the company's retail partner, Amazon India. The Chinese company believes that the new online store will "improve the availability" of OnePlus products in India.

The company in order to make it more rewarding for early supporters is offering limited-time offers to its existing users in the country. To avail the offers, users will have to register the IMEI details of their smartphones on the OnePlus online store. As we mentioned, while the OnePlus 3 is listed on the new online OnePlus Store, the page redirects users to OnePlus 3 listing at Amazon India. We reached out to the company to clarify if it intends to start selling the OnePlus 3 smartphone via its own store in the future. The company responded by saying it has no plans to sell smartphones from the store as of now, and the new online store is in fact aimed at engaging with the OnePlus community in India by providing "exclusive original merchandise".

The e-commerce platform marks yet another major milestone in our India journey and reiterates our long term commitment towards the Indian market and our fan community here. "
