Now, the company has revealed the Dex Station price, says it will start shipping from "late April". It has been priced $149.99 (roughly Rs. 9,700).

The Samsung DeX Station comes with multiple ports for connection including two USB Type-A 2.0, a LAN Ethernet, an HDMI output, and a USB Type-C charging port. Notably, the company has already started taking pre-orders for the device.

"The Samsung DeX Station enables you to turn your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ into a true desktop PC experience. Connect a mouse, keyboard, and Ethernet cable for added productivity," Samsung says in the product description.

Interestingly, the DeX dock even comes with a built-in fan that keeps the device cool while docked in. Considering the Galaxy Note 7 explosion incidents and heat issues that usually surround Samsung devices, this could prove to be an important addition while the phone allows users to complete some complex tasks in a PC-like experience.
