The largest Indian mobile manufacturer, Micromax is a major player in the budget segment. Apart from feature phones and smartphones, the company also manufacturers tablets and two-in-one devices. Micromax recently launched a sub-brand called Yu, whose products were made available only on e-commerce portals in India. Through the Yu brand, Micromax stepped into the health and fitness gadgets segment as well.

Micromax's latest mobile launch is the Canvas Laptab. The tablet was launched in April 2015. The tablet comes with a 10.10-inch display with a resolution of 1280 pixels by 800 pixels.

The Micromax Canvas Laptab is powered by 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The tablet packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Micromax Canvas Laptab packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Micromax Canvas Laptab runs Windows 8.1 and is powered by a 7700mAh non removable battery.

The Micromax Canvas Laptab is a single SIM (GSM) tablet that accepts a Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer.
