Installation woesPunit Jain (Jul 1, 2015) on FlipkartMajor part of review is based on installation experience. AC just got installed today and will update this review the AC based on usage experience. I would like to point out delivery was faster than expected. But installation happened after 1 week of delivery after i escalated the issue. We have a very good electrician and were asked not to use him because that would make warranty void (common, really). Anyways went ahead with their team for installation. I had already gotten all the electrical wiring, mcb, stabilizer and switches installed. They just had to install the AC in window which was a nice fit from 3 side and only top part had a gap which was to be insulated. And they did a very poor job as in refused to cover that gap. In the terms and conditions, it is clearly stated that they would do insulation of the gap for window AC. In my case it the gap was only on one side and that also minor. Totally a waste of money on installation. Have to engage another person to do the job correctly. How can you claim to have company approved experts for installtion/demo when they are so poor at their job.Is this review helpful?
