TicWatch Pro smartwatch by Mobvoi is now available for sale. The key highlight of the new Wear OS smartwatch is the addition of a second, low-power display that is meant to keep the smartwatch running longer. The TicWatch Pro is from Mobvoi, a Google-backed Beijing-based artificial intelligence firm that also makes budget smartwatches such as Ticwatch S and Ticwatch E, as well as, smart speakers like the TicHome Mini.

At first glance of the TicWatch Pro, it appears similar to most other smartwatches, but what sets it apart is that the company has squeezed two screens into its face. The two displays allow the user of the watch to switch between two different modes. However, the key benefits of the technology, is that it allows the TicWatch Pro to provide a whopping 30 days of battery life. To recall, the smartwatch was first unveiled back in May.

As mentioned, the TicWatch Pro comes with a layered display technology. It sports an AMOLED display and an LCD one. The 1.39-inch (400x400 pixels) AMOLED display is used for usual smartwatch functionalities, such as chats, calls, app usage, connectivity, and more. Meanwhile, the LCD screen is placed at the top and it comes only with essential features like a clock, heart rate, and steps counter. It is actually something called a 'Film compensated Super Twisted Nematic (FSTN)' LCD display, and it is transparent when not activated.
