I really loved this laptop(bored of hp brand).A much needed change not regretting this change. I am posting this review after using this laptop for 4 days may be that is not enough to rate this laptop from acer . Gaming performance still not tested, comes with driver installation dvd which saved my time and main feature of this laptop would be its ram is upgradable upto 16 gb i am currently using 12 gb. which is needed for running my android studio smoothly.Laptop doesn't overheat after whole long day usage and one feature to mention is battery life is very good.The textured finish over back panel really adds to the beauty of this laptop. currently i am using windows 10 on this machine(no option).Trust me guys this laptop works great under windows 10.

I ordered this laptop, denim blue colour. It's working great. Quick delivery by Amazon. I think it's the best laptop at that price range and a major advantage for me is it's expandable ram upto 16Gb. I run heavy 3d modeling software on it and it works ok, only lags slightly in intense operations which will go away once I upgrade the ram.

This laptop is definitely a value for money. I had a budget of around 40K. The offerings from other brands were short in one or the other areas as far as the specifications were concerned. Acer got the right spec mix bang on as far as I was concerned.I was clear from the start that I needed an Intel i5 and that I do not really need a Windows operating system, since I have been using Ubuntu & other Ubuntu based distros for the last 8-10 years. So not having a Windows OS shaved of some cost from the laptop. Moreover, I was particular that I need 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 TB and a Wireless Lan AC receiver in my laptop, so that it is future proof to that extent. This laptop ticked all the right boxes for me.I received the product 4 days after ordering. In hindsight, I should have just paid the extra Rs.100 or so to get next day delivery. The laptop was well packed. This is however expected considering the fragility of the product itself.Installing the operating system was no easy cakewalk. Its UEFI based boot. What worked for me was to change it to legacy before installing UBUNTU. I have installed 32 bit UBUNTU OS ( version 16.04 which is still in beta ) since I was running into issues with 64 bit. May be there was some thing which I was overlooking while creating the USB boot disk. I will however, give this one more shot once Ubuntu 16.04 stable version is out.The audio is reasonably good. The audio will easily fill a room at max. The quality however is nothing to brag about. This laptop is more like a desktop replacement considering the 15 inch screen although not too heavy at 2.4 kgs.I am not a gamer so really cannot comment on the frames. On the heat department for my day to day normal use, it stays warm not hot. The sound of the fan is just a gentle hum barely audible.Three things which I do not like about the laptop are : 1) No user replaceable battery. The battery is inbuilt. Which also means that you need a screwdriver to access the battery. 2) You could see the insides of the laptop i.e the processor exhaust, pcb board through the grill vents under the laptop. So kind of disappointed with the built quality. 3) Although this laptop has Intel 6th Gen processor which I was excited about and expected battery efficiencies, I was disappointed with the 'normal' 2.5 - 3 hours I was getting on Ubuntu OS.If you are fine with the strange blue color this laptop variant comes in and are looking for specifications over a top 'brand name', this laptop might just work for you.I have uploaded the the unboxing of this laptop on YouTube. Don't go for this Laptop if you want to work on dual OS... and especially with Ubuntu..!

Was good when priced 36k... now the prices are up by 5K.
