Instagram for Android updated to version 1.1.0, includes tilt-shift effect

  • Instagram for Android receives an update with the tilt-shift effect, initially available only for iOS users.
Instagram, the popular photo sharing app, has now been updated with the tilt-shift effect for the Android version. The updated version 1.1.0 can be installed via Google Play.

The tilt shift feature, which is depicted by the drop icon on the top menu bar, allows users to create linear or spherical blur effects for extra depth of field. The feature was only available on the iOS version till now.

Instagram has become quite a rave amongst Android users since its debut last month. The app clocked 1 million downloads within 24 hours of its release.
