Uber has come out with a new solution to make it easy for riders to find the right car. The all-new solution from Uber will save some time which is lost otherwise in finding the right Uber car.

The company has announced that it is currently testing the new solution in Seattle. The new technology solution called Spot will allow riders and drivers to connect through the use of colour-coded lights.

The company explains that the Spot devices will be attached to the windshields of the car. Riders while requesting a trip will be asked to select a colour in the app while waiting. When a Spot-enabled car arrives at the spot, it will glow with the rider's chosen colour. Uber adds that riders while waiting for the cars can also light up their phone display by pressing and holding the colour they chose in the app for Spot device, making it easy for the driver to identify the rider.

The company unfortunately has not revealed plans to test Spot-enabled cars outside Seattle as of now.

The taxi-hailing service Uber recently announced that it would allow developers of third-party app to add a 'Ride Request' button within their apps for free. The company however requires developers to register their apps on Uber's website to get access to the code to add the button.
