Some of the affected users also took to Twitter to report the issues. In some cases, both Zomato and Swiggy delayed the process of delivering orders that were made by users earlier on Wednesday. Exact reason behind why Zomato and Swiggy were down is yet to be revealed. While the apps have resumed working normally for some users, they are still down for others.

Technical problems at the server-side of Amazon Web Services (AWS) are believed to be the reason behind the outage. However, the AWS Health Dashboard did not suggest any issues with its services at the time of filing this report.
