Bazooka received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The movie stars Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon in the lead role. The film got mixed reactions from the critics and audiences, when it was released in April. Now, reports indicate that the movie is heading for its digital debut. The movie covers the life of a man called Sunny Varghese, a young gamer, who boards a bus and finds himself stuck in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game. It was directed by Deeno Denis as his first debut and produced by Yoodlee Films and Theatre Of Dreams.
As per a report, Mammootty's latest movie might be available on ZEE5. The report further highlights that the movie might be available for streaming starting from June 05, 2025. However, at the time of writing, the movie was not listed on the OTT platform.
Bazooka is written and directed by Deeno Dennis and is produced by Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams. Apart from Mammootty's, the movie also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Divya Pillai, Sneha Ajith, Bhama Arun, Joemon Jyothir, Abin Bino, and others.
Bazooka follows the story of Sunny Varghese, a young gamer who boards a bus from Kochi to Bengaluru. He finds himself stepping into a dangerous game of cat and mouse. On his journey, he meets John Caesar, Mammootty, a mysterious and intelligent man who unveils a shocking story. It involves a story of the heist and a psychopathic criminal mastermind. The crime in the movie is planned very strategically in a video game. It also leaves clues and traps left behind for the most brilliant minds.
On the contrary, John connects the dots and finds Sunny's presence is no coincidence. John is an ex-forensic expert who helps ACP Benjamin Joshua track the criminals behind the horrific incidents with symbolic clues and game references. As the movie gets intense, there is a time when the cast comes across a painting and a device called Bazooka; this painting holds the key to stopping the killer.
Bazooka, the Mammootty's latest cinematic thriller, is built towards a tense slowdown where logic, strategy, and courage are tested occasionally. The movie has an IMDB rating of 7.5/10.
