About The Sinner Season 1 Web Series

Cora Tannetti (Jessica Biel) — a young mother on a picnic to the beach along with her husband (Christopher Abbott) and baby — stabs a stranger to death, and has absolutely no recollection of why she did so.

Her case is handed over to investigator detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) who tries to solve the mystery by digging up her past and repressed memories.

The first season of this police procedural drama is based on a 1999 novel of the same name by the German crime writer Petra Hammesfahr.
