After many a leak, Activision has revealed what we've known for a better part of a week, the next Call of Duty game is called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, will be set in space, and sport a November 4 release date.

The company has also let some details slip on what to expect from its campaign. The plot has you in the role of a United Nations Space Alliance soldier pitted against a militant faction known as the Settlement Defense Front.

You'll don the role of Nick Reyes as you take part in "classic, boots-on-the-ground combat" that we all know and love along with taking command of a giant warship known as the Retribution. It all sounds a bit familiar, echoing what we've seen in instalments of the Halo and Killzone franchises.

Nonetheless, you can expect some technical wizardry from the developer Infinity Ward.

"Leveraging the latest console hardware and a three-year development cycle, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's campaign has been designed to be immersive and seamless, allowing players to take up arms on the ground, board and pilot jet fighters, and epic space battles--all with few visible loading screens," a post on Activision's blog reads.

In addition to this, there's more intel on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Aside from having the complete campaign and only 10 multiplayer maps, you'll only be able to buy it with the Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions of the game. Something that's been confirmed on another blog post by Activision.

As for pricing, on the Xbox Store the Standard Edition of the game costs Rs. 4,300. The Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the game, its Season Pass, and an in-game digital item (yet to be announced what it would exactly be) as well as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will set you back by an even pricier Rs. 6,690. There's a Digital Legacy Edition for Rs. 5,350 as well which consists of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, an in-game digital item, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Right now, there's no pricing on the PlayStation Store or Steam. Safe to say it would be in the same range, as would disc copies when the game's distributor Worldwide CD ROM allows local retailers to list it. If that is what you're looking for, you're in for an agonisingly long wait what with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's pre-orders going live nearly a month prior to release.
