Play Overwatch for Free Next Weekend on PC, PS4, and Xbox One

You will soon be able to play Blizzard’s multiplayer hero shooter, Overwatch for free. The company announced that from 11am PT on November 18 to 4pm PT on November 21, Overwatch can be played with no cost on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For Indian users, Overwatch will be playable from 12:30am IST on November 19 to 5:30am IST on November 22.

Blizzard detailed what can be accessed during this period as well.

“For this free weekend, we're making Overwatch's full roster of 22 heroes and 13 maps available for play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the latest Weekly Brawl. Players will also have the ability to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options,” a post from Blizzard reads. It goes on to explain that user progress will carry over if you decide to purchase the game.

“Plus, if you decide to purchase a copy of Overwatch after test driving the game, you'll get to keep any progress that you made during the weekend—just be sure to use the same Battle.net, Xbox Live or Sony Entertainment account that you played on.”

However, there’s one major catch. Well, at least if you plan on playing it on the PS4 or Xbox One. You will need a PS Plus membership or an Xbox Live Gold subscription to partake in the Overwatch free weekend.
