SEBI Aims to Reduce Misselling by Mutual Funds Through Artificial Intelligence
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is taking the artificial intelligence (AI) route to curb the misselling of capital market products like mutual funds. She states that it is a very complex problem and cites a recent case to illustrate an instance of misselling in which a 90-year-old investor was sold a product with a seven-year lock-in period.
