I am reading a lot of reviews but honestly I am using this Model from Sep2018. I find the AC very effective in cooling. Our room is in too floor and very hot. This AC cools the room in just 5 mins. We cannot even lower the temp below 25 as it was too cold in this temp. Only the outdoor unit is a bit noisy. Else superb AC.

Nice product,, as i expected

Order received quickly within three days but installation work is very poor. Five days has been passed but installation till pending.

4 stars for delivery and 1 star for installation. After delivery installation guys came almost after 11 days instead of promised 48hrs. That too after escalating 4 requests. Installation guys had no sense of asthetic and did absolute pathetic piping inside room which not only made my room ugly but i have no chance to make it better again.As a product i feel hitachi is way better than others as i m a user of Hitachi for almost a year now.

Not worth the brand name

After installation, AC was not providing any cooling. Hitachi team checked and found that Cooling Coil was leak. They have replaced it after 15 days, post that AC was working for 8-9 months. And after that we have kept it unused for 6-7 months, after that when we switched it on, cooling is not as per expectations even after keeping it on for 3 hours.

Crack in copper pipe fitter in outdoor unit, no R32 gas in unit. After making complaint Hitachi repair only not replaced, but no response from Voltas Shoppe.

Purchasing AC from their new series - 'MERAI' , 'SUGOI', ' TOUSHI' AC would look very lucrative given the Brand and price, but you might end up cursing yourself for the most important aspect of the IDU - FAN NOISE. All Hitachi Split AC models except the higher end ones have this same noise rating.Hitachi's argument: Hitachi Personnel when confronted with this fact say that this much noise is normal. Strangely, while other Brands are focussed in making Split AC esp. Indoor unit even less noisier, Hitachi product innovation seems to be moving in an opposite direction.Exactly What: This new series of Inverter ACs from Hitachi - 'MERAI' has high rpm for the Indoor Unit Fan. Which results in a very high ambient operational noise. To give an actual picture - the noise it generates at LOW fan speed is much higher compared to what other ACs make at High fan speed. This is for a split AC which are suppose to make negligible noise. Ambient Noise levels at Fan Speed - 'Low' is 38db. A cursory look at noise levels of competitors will reveal that they make this noise at High fan speed. Imagine trying to sleep with the AC making so much noise at lowest fan speed. Noise is so much so that it acts as a disruption to a conversation in normal audible volume as well as affects sound sleep.I purchased, repented and had to fight tooth and nail with them to accept this design folly and thus a return. Which they finally did in a tight lipped manner. It's a pain and close to impossible to escalate matters at Hitachi. Such a big brand and they Donot have any escalation mail IDs. Just a stupid escalation matrix and primitive forms.Their service centres in and around Mumbai are severely ill equipped and the personnel ill-behaved esp. if you don't purchase additional unnecessary material from them.Purchased another brand in replacement which I won't disclose to maintain the ingenuity of my review above.

Don't buy... Badly installed.. Water is leaking inside the room

These are fake hitachi products being sold in india. My 1.5 ton split got worst in 1 year, 2 times gas leakage, now indoor motor and capacitor is not working. Customer care is not able to resolve. Technicians visited 2 times but could not resolve. Hitachi Technicians are also illiterate they are telling they are given only 2 hrs training before being sent to field for repairs. Stay away from hitachi.

This was purchased for AC cooling in the Hall. Product delivered yesterday (07/09/2018) and installed and commissioned this morning (08/09/2018). Total failure and big disappointment as electric power is not passing thru the circuit. A big failure for the company and product of Hitachi. Complaint raised with Hitachi and awaiting corrective action

Making too much Noice not worth the prices

One Star is even much higher for this kind of product and the Brand. You will end up cursing yourself. Bought it from a Gurgaon based dealer, I curse the day I got it. After 6months of followup both at the dealers and the company end it?s sick. The Noise is so much so called it a DJ or tractor whatever. After months of followup I had to take it with the consumer court. The companies escalation matrix is of stones and bones, they don?t care. Look for any other product, not this one. It?s not worth a penny. I regret till this day, don?t fall pray with the brand Hitachi.

For last 8 days I am running here and there for installation with Hitachi. Please do not buy Hitachi product. Terrible Services....headache

Don't buy Hitachi ACS these are the worst Acs.I bought 1.5 ton inverter ac.With in 2 years the Mother bond is failed and no warranty covered..Service executives are very insensitive and they never concerned about our anguish they are very impolite and harsh..Don't buy them..

Worst product ever, I won't recommend buying this. Bought it from worst seller ever. I request you all to not go for this.

Worst product, too much noisy, No cooling, No customer service. Better go for any another company AC.
