Rashmi Verma, Director and Co-Founder, MapmyIndia, said in an emailed statement that the initial response from parents, young children, and women who have used SafeMate has been positive. "The alarming increase in crime against women and children in India spurred us into thinking about how we could use our sophisticated technology to provide safety to individuals. Guardians can track loved ones by using the SafeMate companion app available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and on the MapmyIndia website.
