I am writing this review after 5 months of the device usage. 1-Amaaaaaaazing battery life (I am a very very heavy user of multimedia/ Internet, the device easily lasts for a day. Expect two if u r a moderate user. There by I never require power bank while I travell ) 2-All the features perform the way they should. 3-Selfie camera seems to perform its own image refinement processes, which to my surprise are brilliantly toned. 4- Rear camera does not disappoint. 5- Does not lag at all. Thanks to a brilliant processor and the RAM management. 6-2GB RAM would suffice as well for the sheer brilliance the way xiaomi performs RAM management on this device-if u want to save a few bucks, you can go for 2GB variant. However considering future prospects 3GB RAM is recommended. You would feel for the lack of Internal storage in 2GB variant considering it would either support a micro sd card or a sim in the second hybrid slot. (Please make a note of it) 7- No heating problem. 8- Charging time 3 Hours to full, no complaints in regards to fast charging (haven't compared with other fast charging devices) 9- Great build quality. 10. Premium looks.I am making time for writing this review, just for the sheer brilliance of this product.Verdict- I was initially worried about the Xiaomi as a brand in India, but it seems to be a brand that can be trusted. Also, considering the R&D team it has setup and its line of future products you may also find a better after sales support (if needed, which I doubt u would if xiaomi continues to make such brilliant product).Yes Xiaomi might now be offering even better devices at this price point.All stars for xiaomi.

Good Phone and Redmi is doing hard to increase thier sales in India. Also if you are lucky your handset will work perfectly but if not then service center will make you cry.

One of the best phone at budget price.Superb features and gr8 battery.Heating issue is there on heavy usage and metal body causes it more.Xiaomi is more frequent with udates to fix bugs, worth buying.
