Dell Unveils Hybrid Laptops, AIOs in Inspiron and XPS Series at Computex
Dell has announced new 2-in-1 hybrid laptop series - Inspiron 11 3000 Series and Inspiron 13 7000 Series - at Computex 2014, along with the new all-in-one Inspiron 20 3000 Series and XPS 18 PCs.

While the entry-level 2-in-1 Inspiron 11 3000 series will be available from June 19, starting at $449 (roughly Rs. 26,500), the Inspiron 13 7000 Series (no pricing provided yet) will be later available in September. The Inspiron 20 3000 series AIO is already available in select countries and will also be available from July 1 on company's official online store in the US, starting at $349.99 (roughly Rs. 20,700). The XPS 18's price and availability has not yet been detailed by the company.

Both the Inspiron 11 3000 (11-inch) and Inspiron 13 7000 (13-inch) 2-in-1 convertible laptops feature an innovative hinge design that rotates 360 degrees between laptop, easel, tent, and tablet configurations.

"Dell customers have more flexibility than ever before to have their technology move with them throughout the day and become a seamless part of their lives" said Sam Burd, Vice President and General Manager, Dell Personal Computing Product Group.

The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series 2-in-1 features an 11.6-inch IPS touchscreen delivering resolution 1366x768 pixels. The company will offer the device in multiple configurations with Intel Bay Trail processors (dual-core Intel Celeron N2830 or quad-core Intel Pentium N3530) clubbed with 4GB of DDR3L/1333MHz memory and 500GB hard drives.

The battery life on Inspiron 11 3000 series is up to 8 hours and 18 minutes, according to the company.

The Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 comes with a 13.3-inch full-HD display and features 4th generation Intel Core processors with either 4GB of DDR3L/1066 memory or 8GB of DDR3L/1600 RAM. The company is also offering free 20GB Dropbox storage along with the standard 500GB. The hybrid also has a built-in passive stylus for tablet use to make notes or fine edits to drawings.

The Inspiron 20 3000 Series is the latest entry-level AIO PC from Dell. It features a 19.5-inch HD display packed in a thin design at 26.8mm with premium speakers, but does not include a battery like the XPS 18. It will come with 500GB of storage with customisation options of either 2GB or 4GB of DDR3L/ 1600MHz memory. It also features similar Intel Bay Trail processors (dual-core or quad-core) as on the Inspiron 11 3000 series.

The battery-powered all-in-one Dell XPS 18 features an 18.4-inch WVA (wide-viewing angle) touchscreen with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The various processor options on the device include Intel Core i3-4030, a Core i5-420U, or a Core i7-4510U CPU with optional 4GB or 8GB of DDR3L RAM (up to 1600MHz). Storage options will range from a 500GB hard drive, a 1TB drive with a 32GB mSATA SSD, or a 256GB SSD with rapid start technology.

The company has also launched three Dell UltraSharp Multimedia Monitors. The 21.5-inch, 23-inch, and 27-inch monitors comes with 1920x1080 full-HD resolution and a 2.0 Megapixel full-HD webcam.
