No matter which part of the market it tries to address, Microsoft will have stiff competition from multiple Android partners. At the high end, there's really no contest - Microsoft hasn't released a new flagship since it erased Nokia's name from the catalog, and it won't until Windows 10 is ready to go later this year. Lumia models stand out in the mid-range because of their attractive styling, good cameras and decent battery life, which somewhat make up for other shortcomings.

The Microsoft Lumia 532 Dual SIM brings minor updates in order to offer better value, but still comes across as less capable than similarly priced Android offerings. It isn’t particularly attractive, lacks a flash and has other hardware limitations, but at least we’re beyond the point where the Windows Phone platform itself was a negative point. If you’re looking for an inexpensive dual-SIM Windows phone, this could be good enough, but if you’re looking for an inexpensive phone regardless of platform, there’s no doubt the Android-based offerings are better. Had it not been for decent battery life and some interesting preloaded apps, there wouldn’t be much to say about this phone at all.
