Microsoft has imported over half-a-million units of the Lumia 535 in India since the smartphones launch in November, according to Indian export/ import site Zauba.

Despite a touchscreen issue affecting some Lumia 535 handsets that required the company to issue a fix, the device seems to doing great for Microsoft in India - at least in terms of shipments. The device was launched on November 26 and went on sale from November 28.

According to Zauba (via Nokiapoweruser), Microsoft India has imported a total of 502,468 Lumia 535 devices worth $30,303,313 (approximately Rs. 187 crores) so far, including 237,040 units in January itself.
