Apple rolled back the release of its iOS 9.3.2 update in May after 9.7-inch iPad Pro users were experiencing a unique 'Error 56' message. The company has resolved the issue, and is now rolling out the updates again over-the-air (OTA).

When the iOS 9.3.2 update was first rolled out last month, a few users of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Affected users were seeing an "Error 56" message that asked them to plug their devices into iTunes. Restoring through iTunes did not resolve the issue either, and rebooting the iPad only led back to the error.

However, the update has now been rolled out via OTA, and all the 9.7-inch users updating a bricked iPad need to connect to iTunes on a Mac or PC using the Lightning cable. No issues were reported for by users of iPhone and other iPad models, and users who took preventive measures and refrained from downloading the update, can now do so.

iOS 9.3.2 was released in May for iPhone, iPad, and iPod models that support iOS 9 including the dated iPhone 4s, the iPad 2, and the first-generation iPad mini. The update was a minor one with bug fixes and improvements. Apple fixed an issue where some Bluetooth accessories were experiencing audio quality problems when paired to the iPhone SE. It also restores Night Shift in Low Power Mode.

As mentioned earlier, the re-released iOS 9.3.2 version is available via OTA (Settings -> General -> Software Update) as well as via iTunes on your PC or Mac. Needless to say, it is recommended to download this update with good Wi-Fi connection and strong battery backup (at least 50 percent or connected to a power backup).
