Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 'Refreshed' Variant Launched Starting Rs. 5,299

Asus on Monday launched a refreshed version of its ZenFone Go 4.5 smartphone in India. The new Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 (ZB452KG) will be going on sale in two different camera variants. The first featuring a 5-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front camera has been priced at Rs. 5,299, while the second variant featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera has been priced at Rs. 5,699.

To recall, Asus launched the original ZenFone Go 4.5 in December last year, pricing it at Rs. 5,299.

The Taiwanese company says that the new ZenFone Go 4.5 (ZB452KG) will be available via various platforms including Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Paytm, Shopclues, and will be also available via the company's exclusive stores and other offline stores. The smartphone will come in Glamour Red, Pearl White, Lemon Yellow, Glacier Grey, Silver Blue, and Sheer Gold colour variants. Some of the camera features of the new ZenFone Go 4.5 include low-light mode, backlight (HDR) mode, zero shutter lag, and beautification modes.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone runs new ZenUI on top and packs 8GB of storage. It comes with expandable storage support via microSD card (up to 64GB). In addition, Asus will also offer up to 100GB of free cloud storage via Asus WebStorage.

The ZenFone Go 4.5 (ZB452KG) packs a Qualcomm processor while the original ZenFone Go 4.5 came with a MediaTek processor. The new ZenFone Go 4.5 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The handset supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The dual-SIM handset supports both Micro-SIMs. It packs a 2070mAh battery. The new ZenFone Go 4.5 measures 136.5x67x11mm and weighs 125 grams.
