Gionee has announced the official availability of its Elife E7 Mini smartphone for the Indian market. The smartphone will be available at Rs. 18,999.

The Elife E7 Mini debuted in India, alongside its bigger sibling the Elife E7, in December 2013. Earlier in April, the Elife E7 Mini was available via an e-commerce website.

The Gionee Elife E7 Mini runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company's custom Amigo 2.0 UI layer on top, much like the elder sibling, the Gionee Elife E7. The Gionee Elife E7 is a single SIM device, but the mini-variant supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality.
