Intex Aqua 3G Mini, Aqua T4, and Aqua T5 With Android 4.4.2 KitKat Launched

Intex has launched three new Aqua-series Android smartphones in India - the Aqua 3G Mini, Aqua T4, and Aqua T5 - all of which feature dual-SIM support.

All three new Aqua series smartphones are now listed on the company's site with pricing - the Intex Aqua 3G Mini is priced at Rs. 3,370, while both the Aqua T4 and the Aqua T5 are listed at Rs. 3,120.

As of now, there is no word on the availability details of the three new smartphones; however, we expect that Intex will announce the availability in the coming days.

Notably, the Intex Aqua 3G Mini, as the name suggests, supports 3G, while the Aqua T4 and the Aqua T5 only support 2G (GPRS/ EDGE) connectivity (on both the SIMs). All three new Intex Aqua-series smartphones run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The three new Aqua smartphone share a lot of similarities in terms of specifications, and all also sport a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) display.

The Intex Aqua T4 and the Aqua T5 are both powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor clubbed with 256MB of RAM, while the Aqua 3G Mini is backed by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor alongside 256MB of RAM.

All three new Aqua series smartphones sport 512MB ROM and around 16MB inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB (via microSD card). All three also sport 2-megapixel rear autofocus cameras with LED flash, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera onboard as well.

The Intex Aqua T4 and the Aqua T5 are backed by a 1400mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. Meanwhile, the Aqua 3G Mini packs a 1300mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time.

Connectivity options on all three smartphones include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and 3G (only Aqua 3G Mini).

According to the company site, the Intex Aqua T4 will be available in Black and White colours. It measures 116.6x61.8x10.9mm and weighs 100 grams. The Aqua T5, on the other hand, will be available in Black, Blue, Grey, and White colours, measures 117.8x64x11.9mm, and weighs about 105 grams. Lastly, the Intex Aqua 3G Mini, mini-variant of the Aqua 3G, will be available in Black Blue and Black colours. It measures 118x62x10.55mm and weighs 105 grams.
