Samsung may not have revealed its intentions about launching affordable 'Lite' variants of some of its popular smartphones, however, rumours about the alleged Galaxy Grand Lite and Galaxy Note 3 Lite are regularly surfacing on the Internet. This time the Galaxy Grand Lite has supposedly been spotted at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), with a listing revealing some of the features expected in the upcoming smartphone.

Spotted by Phonearena, the FCC listing of the alleged Galaxy Grand Lite refers to a device with model number GT-I9060, which features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. Also on board is a 2100mAh battery, though there is no word on whether it is removable or not. The FCC listing also shows the alleged Galaxy Grand Lite running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Other rumoured specifications of the alleged Galaxy Grand Lite includes a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels; dual-SIM support; 5-megapixel rear camera; VGA front-facing camera; 1.2GHz quad-core processor; 1GB of RAM and microSD card support. Further, Phonearena claims that the Galaxy Grand Lite will supposedly come in three colour variants - Black, Lime Green and Orange.

Samsung is also said to be working on the Lite variant of the Galaxy Note 3 dubbed Galaxy Note 3 Lite. An earlier report had suggested that the alleged Galaxy Note 3 Lite will equip LTE support and might also come in a Green colour variant.
