Just ahead of its launch, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 has been subjected to a massive leak. Onleaks seems to have got hold of the official press renders, revealing the smartphone from all angles. A separate leak also gives us details on the possible Europe launch date.

These renders (via Nowhereelse) pretty much speak the same story that recent past leaks have been suggesting. It sports an Edge display, comes with the iris scanner, and has made the switch to USB Type-C port. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is leaked in three colour variants - Black, Silver, and Coral Blue - again confirming past leaks.

Alongside these press renders, the tipster also revealed a clear image of the Gear VR headset rumoured to be launched alongside the Galaxy Note7. The image confirms that it isn't going to see much of an upgrade with respect to design, however it will come with support for USB Type-C port. It will also support old Samsung Galaxy Note devices as well. The Gear VR is expected to be priced at USD 90 (roughly Rs. 6,700).

As for the Galaxy Note7, it is expected to be priced at EUR 849 (roughly Rs. 63,000) on launch, and will be made available in Korea on the same day. A new report by Android Planet hints that the phablet will enter the European market on August 16.

Samsung had managed to keep the new features of the S Pen a closely guarded secret so far, but all that has changed with a new leak from Android Galaxys.net revealing three distinct features. The S Pen is expected to have a feature called Translate, which will translate words in other languages just by hovering the S Pen on top of that word. Another feature is called Magnify, which simply zooms in to the selected display area. The last feature is called Glance, and it allows users to switch between apps by hovering the S Pen over a floating app thumbnail.

Also, an anonymous user on Reddit was conducting an AMA revealing all details of the Galaxy Note7. Apart from its specs, the user also said that the S Pen will have the abilities to work underwater, and will also support making gif images. Users need to trace a section of a video for making the gif images, and it will automatically be saved to the device.

Casemaker Spigen has also already started selling the Galaxy Note7 protective cases on its site for Indian users. First spotted by Tekkitake, the cases are priced starting Rs. 999, and go all the way up to Rs. 2,099.

For its alleged price point, Samsung is pegged to offer a 5.8-inch QHD Super Amoled display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is expected to come in two variants featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8893 SoCs paired with 6GB of RAM (10nm chip). However, there have been contrasting reports of a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB RAM as well. The Galaxy Note7 will offer three inbuilt storage options - 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB (with the choice to expand as well). It is rumoured to sport a 12-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, both with Dual Pixel technology. The company is also expected to pack a 3600mAh battery on board, alongside fast charging capabilities. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based TouchWiz Grace UX.

The Galaxy Note Unpacked event in New York is scheduled for 8.30pm IST on Tuesday, and will be live streamed on the Samsung website. The Korean giant has also started taking pre-registrations on its site to gauge the purchase interest levels in the Indian market.
