Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011.
Motorola's latest mobile launch is the G86 Power. The mobile was launched in 30th July 2025. The Motorola G86 Power is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola G86 Power packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Motorola G86 Power runs Android 15 and is powered by a 6720mAh non removable battery. It measures 161.21 x 74.74 x 7.87 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 185.00 grams. The Motorola G86 Power is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
