OnePlus hasn't launched a “flagship-killer” smartphone in a while, and the smartphone maker has focused on high-end and mid-range models as part of its number series and Nord lineup, respectively. The new OnePlus 13s, however, might be a strong contender for the title of a flagship killer, with a few notable specifications, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 5,800mAh battery. It's also the first high-end phone to feature a relatively small 6.3-inch OLED screen that is slightly larger than the regular iPhone 16.

OnePlus 13s is a premium smartphone equipped with a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm, along with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It runs on Android 15 with the company's OxygenOS 15 user interface, and is slated to receive four Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

This compact flagship sports a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid support. It offers vibrant visuals with up to 1600 nits peak brightness, in a more compact form factor than its more expensive sibling, the OnePlus 13. The display features Crystal Shield Glass protection and the phone has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

The OnePlus 13s has 50-megapixel main camera capable of 4K video recording, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone packs a 5,800mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging. The phone also features an infrared port, and biometric authentication is handled by an under-display optical fingerprint sensor.
