The Nintendo Switch has had a fantastic first year. From the many leaks leading up to its reveal to the actual console announcement itself and its many games, it’s the cynosure of all eyes. However it’s far from perfect.

In addition to this we talk about how to get a Nintendo Switch and buy games for it in a country like India where Nintendo doesn’t have an official presence. We also tell you what you need along with a Nintendo Switch in terms of accessories such as a microSD card and which one to buy.
Finally, we speculate on what the Nintendo Switch’s success means for the Nintendo 3DS. The current scenario harkens back to the end days of the Game Boy when Nintendo claimed that despite the Nintendo DS’ success, the Game Boy line would still exist evidently this is not the case.
