Logitech on Monday launched its keypad toolkit called Create along with a Smart Connector for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The Create Backlit Keyboard Case comprises a protective case, a backlit keyboard, and an integrated holder for the Apple Pencil. Logitech has priced the Create case at Rs. 9,995 and it will be available starting Monday.

The Logitech Create case comes with a Smart Connector that readily attaches itself to the iPad in the horizontal mode, without any Bluetooth pairing. It can turn the iPad Pro on and off with its smart Auto Wake and Auto Sleep feature. The Create backlit keyboard comes with access to the camera and headphone. It features the same specifications as the earlier launched Logi Create Backlit Keyboard case for 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

On the inside of the keyboard case, there is a lightweight polycarbonate frame and a keyboard module to provide structural integrity to the 9.7-inch iPad Pro without weighing down. The keyboard is also resistant to liquid spills, bumps and scratches. The backlit technology works efficiently to save battery that automatically turns it off after 8 seconds of inactivity. On the Create keyboard, you will also find a bunch of dedicated iOS shortcuts such as Home, Spotlight Search etc.

The Logitech Create Backlit Keyboard Case comes with an integrated holder that can keep your Apple Pencil safe inside the case. Folding the case behind the iPad Pro will give a good angle to draw and scribble with your Apple Pencil on the iPad.

"Create is like the Swiss Army Knife of keyboard cases," said Ashok Jangra, Cluster Category Head - Logitech India, in a press release. He detailed about the product adding, "It puts all the tools you need at your fingertips, and the keyboard charges through the Smart Connector so you can just set your iPad Pro into a typing position and go. It brings typing on the iPad Pro to a whole new level."
