Zen Mobile joins budget tablet brigade with Rs. 6,199 ICS tablet

With every passing day, more and more Indian manufacturer are coming out with their ultra-cheap Ice Cream Sandwich tablets. Most of these tablets are Chinese imports, while others claim to have developed them indigenously.

The latest one to join the mix is Zen Mobile, with its UltraTab A100, an Android 4.0.3 powered tablet for Rs. 6,199. Initially available via online retailer HomeShop18 at a special price of Rs. 5,999, the tablet will available broadly on a later date.

Zen UltraTab A100 features a 7-inch display with WVGA resolution, 1.2GHz processor, 1.3MP front camera and 2800 mAh battery. The tablet weighs just 295 grams and comes pre-loaded with a copy of Hindi movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
