Lenovo S5 Pro mobile was launched in October 2018. The phone comes with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2246 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Lenovo S5 Pro is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The Lenovo S5 Pro runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3500mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lenovo S5 Pro on the rear packs a 20-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, and a 12-megapixel (f/2.6) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. On the front, the Lenovo S5 Pro packs a 20-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a second 8-megapixel camera.

The Lenovo S5 Pro runs ZUI 5.0 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The Lenovo S5 Pro is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Lenovo S5 Pro measures 154.50 x 75.45 x 7.70mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 170.00 grams. It was launched in Black, Blue, and Gold colours.

Connectivity options on the Lenovo S5 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Lenovo S5 Pro supports face unlock.
