Jio New Plan Prices Now Live: Latest All-in-One Plans Start at Rs. 199 With 28 Days Validity

Jio latest plan prices have gone into effect from today, Friday, December 6. Here is all you need to know about Jio new plan prices and benefits.

Jio new plan prices revealed earlier this week are now live

Jio new prepaid recharge plans are live, from Friday, December 6. The new Jio plans cost more to the consumers but are touted to provide up to 300 percent additional benefits. Part of the telecom operator's All-in-One plans, they follow prepaid recharge plan price hikes by Airtel and Vodafone Idea.  The new Jio plans start at Rs. 199 and go up to Rs. 2,199. Jio has provided benefits such as daily high-speed data quota, unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calling, and minutes for non-Jio voice calls. The new Jio plans also come bundled with Jio app benefits.

New Jio prepaid recharge plans

The new Jio All-in-One prepaid plans start at Rs. 199. The base plan includes 1.5GB high-speed data per day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 1,000 non-Jio voice calling minutes for 28 days. There is also the Rs. 249 Jio prepaid plan that includes 2GB daily high-speed data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 1,000 non-Jio voice calling minutes for 28 days. Customers can also opt for the Rs. 349 Jio prepaid plan that brings 3GB daily data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 1,000 non-Jio voice calling minutes for 28 days.

If you want to go beyond 28 days validity, Jio has the new Rs. 399 prepaid recharge plan with 1.5GB high-speed data per day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, an FUP of 2,000 non-Jio voice calling minutes for 56 days. The portfolio also includes the Rs. 444 prepaid plan with 2GB daily data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 2,000 non-Jio voice calling for 56 days. Earlier, the Rs. 444 prepaid plan notably offered 84 days validity along with similar list of benefits.

Jio also has introduced new All-in-One prepaid plans for 84 days validity. This validity period recharge plans include the Rs. 555 prepaid plan that offers 1.5GB high-speed daily data allocation, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 3,000 non-Jio voice calling minutes. Similarly, the operator provides the Rs. 599 Jio prepaid plan with 2GB high-speed data per day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 3,000 non-Jio minutes for 84 days.

Customers looking for a long-term Jio prepaid plan can go for the Rs. 2,199 prepaid plan that brings 1.5GB high-speed daily data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 12,000 non-Jio voice call minutes for 365 days.

Jio also has brought three new options that it calls the affordable prepaid plans. These plans start at Rs. 129 that brings 2GB of total high-speed data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 1,000 minutes of non-Jio voice calls for 28 days. There is also the Rs. 329 Jio prepaid plan with 6GB of total high-speed data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 3,000 minutes of non-Jio voice calling for 84 days. Lastly, the telco has provided the Rs. 1,299 prepaid plan with 24GB of total high-speed data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and 12,000 non-Jio voice calling for 365 days.

All the new All-in-One Jio prepaid plans include 100 SMS messages per day. Also, post the given FUP of non-Jio voice calling minutes, customers are required to recharge with one of the available IUC top-up vouchers that Jio launched in October or get a regular top-up voucher and pay 6 paise per minute.

The new move would help Jio garner more revenue in the coming future. The operator led by billionaire Mukesh Ambani in October posted its eighth profitable quarter in a row and announced that its profit rose to Rs. 990 crore from Rs. 681 crores a year ago – a year-over-year (YoY) increase of 45 percent.

Jio isn't the only telco that has brought new prepaid plans with increased charges. Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel earlier this week also revised their prepaid plans. However, unlike Jio, Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel reported combined losses of Rs. 74,000 crores in the quarter ending September.
