The MBlaze Power Wi-Fi dongle packs a 5200mAh battery bank and can provide hi-speed data connectivity to up to 6 devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, gaming consoles on MTS' 3G+ telecom network, it added.
Priced at Rs. 2,999 for prepaid customers and Rs. 3,499 for postpaid customers, MBlaze Power Wi-Fi also supports media sharing on all devices connected via Wi-Fi, and comes with 10GB of bundled data. Users can store up to 32GB data on the device with a microSD card.
Last month, Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) partnered with Hewlett-Packard India for offering MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi dongle free on purchase of an HP Omni 10 tablet, priced at Rs. 27,990.
SSTL provides telecom services under the MTS brand. Besides the dongle, MTS is also offering customers free 200MB of data usage every month for lifetime and accessories, including a wall charger and an on-the-go (OTG) cable, MTS said in a release.
"With a surge in the number of tablet and smartphone users in India, there has been a paradigm shift in the way Internet is being consumed by customers on the move," MTS India Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Leonid Musatov said.
