"We a have the largest range of TVs after Sony, Samsung and LG with 22 Unique SKUs in the Indian market. We have had 350 percent year-on-year growth since 2013 aiming for a turnover of Rs. 600 crores in 2016-17. With the launch of our new portfolio and many more in the pipeline, we are confident of achieving that goal within the stipulated time frame", she added.

The Vu Premium UHD TVs feature Pixelight HDR technology, a quad core processor and a dedicated button on the remote for Netflix access, among others. The upcoming Curve range of Vu TVs also feature 4K resolutions, along with a curved screen and smart functionality.

Vu has had considerable success selling TVs online in partnership with online retailer Flipkart, and the company claims to be the largest online seller of TVs in India, with a peak of 35,000 units sold in a day last year. The new TVs continue to offer feature-filled large screen TVs at competitive prices that strongly undercut the established Japanese and Korean TV brands, such as Sony, Samsung and LG. The company's last major launch was the PremiumSmart range in May, with prices starting at Rs. 20,000.
