Vivo Y17s mobile was launched on 2nd October 2023. The phone comes with a 60 Hz refresh rate 6.56-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1612x720 pixels (HD+) at a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi). Vivo Y17s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Vivo Y17s runs Android 13 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The Vivo Y17s supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y17s on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor.

The Vivo Y17s runs FuntouchOS 13 is based on Android 13 and packs 64GB, 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Vivo Y17s measures 163.74 x 75.43 x 8.09mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 186.00 grams. It was launched in Forest Green and Glitter Purple colours. It features an IP54 rating for dust and water protection.

Connectivity options on the Vivo Y17s include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
